The Hill Village

The view from the swimming pool is spectacular! Room very nice and cozy, bed comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped so we could cook our own food or make a smoothie. Definitely would stay here again.

- beautiful space: pool was so lovely and we had it to ourselves each time we used it - views were so lovely - our room was nice. Was good to make food one night, sit on the balcony and read etc. - water refills in our room, which was great - nice chilled part of the island where there were lovely beaches - able to rent motorbikes on site - nearby village was nice. Food market, 7/11, nice restaurants and atmosphere… would have been nice to stay closer around there - roads nearby were quiet to drive on

- as mentioned, the location. Coming from the pier, you’ll find it hard to get a decently priced taxi to this location as it’s so out of the way and hilly. The staff offered to pick us up and then dropped us off at the pier for less money than offered at the pier. 2 different prices though - if you stay, you need to rent a motorbike and be confident enough to drive, especially the hill to the room - lack of atmosphere there. Staff weren’t really around when needed - available via WhatsApp but would be nice to have someone on reception and welcoming you - in the morning, other people who stayed were noisy, talking and playing music very early which put a dampener on things. They were also doing the same around 10:30pm/12am too. - you could walk but you need to be very fit and you can’t really then walk back at night due to lack of light. Dogs wandering around too

Beautiful place, close by to lovely quiet beaches and restaurants. The pool and the views from The Hill Village are stunning. Neenit and her brother were so kind and helpful. We would highly, highly recommend. Thank you!

The pool, the garden and the location were absolutely amazing!!!

It was quite hard to go to the near village and then walk back up. But you can easily rent a scooter. I’d suggest to have a vending machine with drinks and basic snacks at the property.

The view is amazing, staff is super helpful and other guests were very friendly. I would say the pool is the best I have seen. Very clean and quiet.

As other guests have said, the location is the best and also the worst aspect of the Hill village. It is on the Hill, which makes the view amazing and the place quiet. At the same time it is more difficult to get there and to the village. You definitely need a scooter and some experience with it.

Great swimming pool, very clean, even a little kitchen to make breakfast and smoothies. The host Neenit brought us by car back to thong sala for a better price than all taxi services.

The only bad thing about this place is also the best thing about it. The location. It’s on a hilltop and therefor is a little bit hard to get to. But it’s nothing too bad and the 20 min walk to the town is well rewarded with the most beautiful views, nice pool and great bungalows. Such a gem
