Staff, breakfast, location

Terrific. Very well located in a quiet bit of the medina. Central courtyard is stunning and rooms are richly decorated and well equipped. Rooftop breakfasts were exactly what we needed. But the very best part is the staff -- the manager Yacin was beyond helpful: patient, informative, responsive, anticipating needs and going out of his way to make sure we enjoyed everything about our time in Fez. When (not "if") we return, we would not consider staying anywhere else.

Dar Borj is a beautiful and well decorated riad. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view over Fes and the breakfast served there was plentiful and delicious. We had a warm welcome with tea and the friendly owner gave us a lot of information about the city and answered all our additional questions. The riad is very well located, right next to the entrance of the medina. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in the riad and in Fes!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Borj. Yassine gave us a warm welcome, showed us a map of the city, and treated us to mint tea and cookies upon arrival. The riad is beautiful, with charming rooms and an incredible rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!
