The noise from the pub opposite The Walrus and late night revellers disturbing sleep at 4.15 a.m.

The location is good although being situated next to a pub and student accommodation on a weekend we were constantly being woken up. The set out of the internal fixtures and fittings are complimenting to the building and it’s original features.

On arrival to collect the keys from a separate location we were created by a man with his shoes off, feet up on a desk telexing and a lady on the phone who we spoke to, to get checked in. There was lots of dirt in sunken lights on the kitchen work surface, sofa bed is awfully dirty. Various marks and stains around the property making us feel dirty and not very settled. The constant noise throughout the night didn’t help and the shower didn’t work at one stage so we couldn’t wash. I tried to contact someone at around 20:30/21:00 but join one was available, I have not been contacted since.the extra bed was not made within the property even thou the new building where we picked the keys up from called ahead to check, this is just unacceptable.

Extremely clean, spacious, well equipped suite. Great position, 5 minutes from the hoe/ Barbican on foot, great pub opposite with live entertainment and very welcoming staff, would definately stay there again
