Great Location! Huge accommodation, very clean, and the private onsen was perfect! There’s no kitchen sink but it wasn’t a big deal for us since we ate out most of the time. Would definitely recommend for a family or large party as it can accommodate quite a few people.

Veri nice place and spacious. Very much Japanese style. Location is also great! The accomodation is very well kept and served. Beds are also comfortable.

No stove or basin in the kitchen but no issue as the bathroom has separate dry area with basins.

This homestay exceeded all expectations! The house is incredibly spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a classical touch that adds to its charm. The private onsen is a true highlight—relaxing and perfect after a day of exploring Kyoto. The house is well-equipped with everything you could need: excellent heating to keep you warm in winter, two toilets, a modern bathroom, washing machine, microwave, oven, and even a coffee maker. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making our stay completely fuss-free. The management has done an outstanding job ensuring every detail is taken care of. If you’re looking for a serene and luxurious stay in Kyoto, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! 🌟

the kitchen has no sink. So, each time you need to wash plates and cups, bring them all to the bathroom.

Located in the heart of the most beautiful and historic part of Kyoto near the Shirakawa stream. The room is spacious and comfortable with one bed room and one tatami room besides the living. Onsen hot bath is also great. All the facilities are new and clean. A laundry machine in the room.

Nothing specifically, but beware that there’s no kitchen sink or gas range behind the counter (so don’t plan to cook here). Fridge, microwave, toaster, and e-kettle are available.

The space had great AC. And wonderfully Heated floors. The tatami mats were nice. Very spacious and comfortable. The onsen provided a great hot bath experience with much needed relaxation after the long hikes to the shrines. The location is very central and easy to get around and can comfortably sleep 8. Good for 2 families in separate ends of a long room. The kitchen wasn’t quite a kitchen without a table Or sink but a nice big counter top and coffee maker. We were out all the time anyways as there really Isn’t a need to cook.
