TownePlace Suites by Marriott Louisville Airport

I stayed during the very busy KY Derby weekend. Was surprised to see world class jockeys staying at the hotel where the service was very good.

Comfortable, clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Great location.

No housekeeping visit despite request. Trash not taken out. Requested fan in bathroom fixed-not done-like a steam shower.

Staff is always super nice. Have stayed a few different times. Food options close and it’s a quick drive to the Expo center.

Beware, i stayed here over night and was told i would have to put up a 400.00 dollar fee because i lived inside the city limits of Louisville. I have reached out several times within the last 2 weeks only for them not to return my calls. Reasoning for the charge is to keep the party people away, and this was at 10.30 at night upon checking the room , nothing is mentioned about this on the web site when making the reservations . Hotel said this is for all of the hotels around and i found out this isnt true at all . 400 hold is still on my card for the stay on the 9th with no help from the hotel, I will not be staying here and will not recommend this hotel to no one

Loved the hot breakfast and that there was room for our bigger team to hang together to chat about our business conference.

The inside of the hotel was nice and rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly but it felt a little creepy. There were homeless people right outside the door drinking and smoking allday and later at night. It was raining so they stayed right where you pulled up to go in. Kind of sketchy all around.
