Les Suites at The Cliff Bay

We were looking so hard to find a remark, but we didn't find one. The food, the room, the service,... : everything was perfect!

Probably the best 5 star hotel in Funchal….don't fancy the stairs in your duplex suite, use your own lift! This place is as near perfect as you can get….any request ( within reason ) can be facilitated with speed and professionalism. “We stayed at Les Suites” one to tick off the bucket list…enough said.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Fantastic, friendly service which is second to none. We enjoyed a gorgeous suite with a fabulous lounge and even our own lift! View is just amazing - I watched my sister’s cruise ship arrive! Breakfast is a scrumptious affair, every possible choice available, not forgetting the very welcome, sparkling wine. The pool/jacuzzi area so peaceful and relaxing. The gym looked good. I am sure the spa would be lovely too but I didn’t have time to try. Thank you to all the most fantastic staff for making our stay so amazing.

Overall an excellent short break. Comfort first rate as was the service. The peacefulness of the hotel Suites makes it a very relaxing venue. All services and staff do their utmost to make sure your stay is perfect.

This is an excellent hotel. Quiet and private. The staff were amazing, where literally everyone was friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They each went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. The view from the suite, infinity pool and dining areas is absolutely incredible (and worth the higher price tag). To top it off, the daily all-inclusive breakfast and dining experience at Avista restaurant was fantastic. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved everything about the property. Our suit was spacious, clean, gorgeous views. As there are not too many suites it felt very private. We spent hours at the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect after hike stay.

Difficult to find fault in any way.Great location,Great amenities, great food and wonderful staff. Could not recommend more highly.

We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. At Cliff Bay Suites we found it. This was the nicest hotel my wife and I have ever visited (and we have been to lots over the years!). The staff were delightful and very helpful. The accommodation was luxurious, and the food in the restaurant was top notch. The view from our room was heavenly. We hope to return.
