Chapter Two Bar

Rooms for the price are very good, but the welcome and the friendly staff make this place very special, for a few days away couldn't recommend the place enough, would definitely go back again

Nicely refurbished small twin room. Clean, excellent shower, bottles of water with the teas and coffee appreciated.

Very unclear about parking. No breakfast.

The bedroom was bright and cool but the bed and duvet were outstanding so comfortable I didn’t want to leave

We had done a little 9 day tour of Yorkshire and Malton was our last stop. Arrived at Chapter Two and was greeted by a really cheerful young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room and advised us where to park. Room was nice and clean and quiet. We had twin beds, which were comfortable. Chapter Two is in a great location in the village, so we have a wander round and had something to eat, then made our way back to the bar. The owners are a family of young people who are all friendly and cheerful and the right people to be in hospitality! Would definitely stay here again.

We come to Malton a lot to visit family. We love it here. It's clean and relaxed home from home, and they make great cocktails!

Nothing to not like

Pleasant clean and comfy accommodation near centre. Very helpful friendly staff with good info about where to eat. Said we could dry out wet clothes (a long walking day in the rain) in the lobby downstairs, which was much appreciated.

One of the rooms was great. The other had a window that didn't open. This caused a bit of a health issue for one of our group, due to the stuffiness of the room ( number 5 I think). Also thought this could possibly be a health and safety issue/fire hazard.
