"Pleasant Luxury with Coffee!"

10.0

Wonderful amenities, kind of an older school luxury decor and furnishings, great artwork. Quiet, comfortable and an unexpected luxury. A couple of small problems, like no switch to turn on one of wall lamps (the knob was unscrewed and no way to turn the remaining screw that holds the knob due to the older styling of the knob). Very nice to have a very good coffee maker in the room, something that has dwindled away during and past COVID in higher end hotels. I know, everyone can travel to the lobby (or wait for room service), walk about a mile in these larger properties, and wait in line for Starbucks, but we like to start our day off with coffee in the room before journeying around a lot. We enjoy the location/rooms of the regular Park MGM, but now that the Reserve Park MGM (formally Nomad) is part of the Marriott/MGM array it was a very pleasant and relaxing surprise for us. Loved the in-room coffee.

I like that it has a separate entrance as it is a smaller hotel within a big one. The rooms are great, the wooden floor, the wonderful bath tub. I like that the Casino is no smoking

Nothing, we will return again

"Unique, cozy and fabulous - in the center of it all."

10.0

Fantastic, non smoking facility. Quiet and cozy still in the center of everything. Fantastic room, fantastic staff. The Library was a dining experience out of this world. We had a fabulous time and I'd recommend this to anyone seeking a different Las Vegas experience. It's pretty unique!

Nothing - no complaints.

"Platinum Status Is Powerless and Not Respected Here"

2.0

My experience at The Reserve at Park MGM was deeply disappointing, especially considering this was meant to be a special anniversary trip. As an MGM Platinum member celebrating our anniversary, I expected a higher level of service and proactive accommodation. Unfortunately, that standard was not met from the beginning. We were able to check in early around 11:00 AM, which I initially appreciated. Upon arrival, I requested a crib and additional towels from the bellman. He assured me he would personally handle it. We then left the property for an outing, expecting the room to be properly prepared upon our return. When we returned around 3:00 PM, neither the crib nor the towels had been delivered. After waiting and realizing nothing had been addressed, I had to personally go down to the front desk to resolve the issue. At that point, I was met by a Hotel Operations Manager who was clearly trying her best to mend the situation. Her efforts were professional and appreciated. However, by then, the overall experience had already begun to deteriorate. Despite her sincere attempts, it became clear that there was nothing the property could realistically offer that would change the circumstances or restore the tone of what was meant to be a special anniversary stay. Ultimately, she assisted me in switching my entire comped stay to another MGM resort, which I appreciated. She also ensured that my same resort credit and freeplay would transfer to the new property. Upon checking into the second property, there were no upgrades available. However, the receptionist acknowledged my MGM Platinum status and proactively offered an additional $100 resort credit since she could not extend an upgrade. This gesture was highly appreciated and felt like a night-and-day difference compared to my experience at The Reserve. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. When I checked my freeplay, it had not been reset or transferred as I had been told. The second property informed me that they were unable to correct it and advised me to contact The Reserve directly. I contacted The Reserve and initially, the manager stated there was nothing he could do. After a second call and further discussion, he was eventually able to apply a small amount. By this point, I was extremely frustrated that so many missteps had occurred and that the tone of the trip had been overshadowed by repeatedly trying to fix problems originating from The Reserve. It genuinely felt like the entire trip became centered around resolving issues that should have never happened in the first place. To their credit, two Hotel Operations Managers at The Reserve were involved and both attempted to make things right. I do appreciate their efforts. However, the accumulation of service failures and miscommunication created a disappointing experience overall. In the end, I thanked the second manager for his effort and told him this was the first interaction out of many where I truly felt like a valued guest and that someone was going above and beyond. Additionally, the overall interaction at The Reserve did not reflect MGM Platinum level service at all. For a premium-tier experience and a milestone anniversary trip, the service fell significantly short of expectations. At least management did honor returning my comps, which I appreciated and felt was the appropriate resolution given the circumstances. However, what was meant to be a celebratory anniversary trip ultimately turned into a frustrating experience spent resolving service failures. I had high expectations for The Reserve at Park MGM. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations.
