Happy Family Guesthouse

Beautiful garden and general setting with a nice pool. A bit hard to get to. Staff were supportive when I was sick. Main contact lady spoke good English and was responsive and helpful. A nice place to chill out for a few days.

The guesthouse is so beautiful! It's right on the river so you can eat your meals while watching boats pass, but the inner courtyard is so lovely too with plants everywhere. It's also so nice to be able to rent a bicycle or motorbike, swim in the pool, or lounge in one of the many hammocks. Also Mrs. Van and the other folks running the guesthouse are incredibly accommodating. Mrs. Van helped me find transportation to get to the guesthouse and helped me book a bus back to Saigon. She was really communicative on WhatsApp and very clear with how to order food for meals, etc. The other staff were also super nice and helpful.

The room gets SO HOT during the day. And you cannot have any sort of cross ventilation because there is only the door and no window. But this just meant I needed to stay outside which wasn't an issue because reading in the dining area was very pleasant temperature-wise. And the room cooled down eventually in the night.

Amazing location on the river, staff were so friendly and helpful. Great food. Relaxing spot can get some beautiful sunsets here, only downside is the river is quite busy at night with boats passing when staying in the hut.

Everything. Ms. Van is just an amazing manager. Helped me a lot during my stay, the food is increíble, the views and the place a little bit remote but so worth it. It’s a peaceful place to recharge energy with also a lot of plans to do :)

Warm welcome, staff very nice. We loved the swimming pool as well as the place to eat at the riverside.

Beautifully located in a rural area, right at the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good too. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff can help with activities and onwards travel.

Only bright overhead lighting in the rooms, could do with a smaller lamp in the room to make it more cozy.
