Avari Xpress Multan

Before our arrival, the hotel rebooked us into the Avari Boutique hotel, which is less than 50 metres from the Avari. Both are centrally located, near the walled city. The have secure compounds, with high perimeter walls, barbed wire and 24/7 security. You are advised to leave the hotel only with armed guards and not at all in the evening. Inside, we felt completely safe. The Avari Boutique has a restaurant, with complentary high tea (with sandwiches and cakes). The menu is wide ranging. The reception staff were attentive and meticulous.

I would advise to choose pakistani dishes from the restaurant menu. I found those better than one Chinese dish which I had ordered. On the day of our departure, one receptionist had meddled with the appointment of our police escort, so that they didn't turn up on time. Eventually, we left for Islamabad without Escort vehicle.

I have been staying in this Hotel regularly while breaking my journey from Karachi to Islamabad or vice versa by road and always found the place to be in up to the mark. From the time we enter the hotel premises till we check out and leave the standards are great and over the years have been maintained.

There is nothing that I didn't like in the hotel but they can add a little variety in food being offered especially at breakfast time.
