Heranya Yala

Love the ambiance and the old aesthetic of Nepali architecture. Bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. AC worked fine.

Lack of communication in multiple occasions. The day we stayed at Heranya Yala, apparently was the front desk worker’s day off, which he didn’t communicate. Lack of care for customers: From what it seemed the staff at night did not care for the satisfaction for the customers. We ordered drinks and snacks of 4000rs+ at 8pm, they told us it wouldn’t take long, but it came to us at 9:30pm. When we tried calling the front desk, no one picked up, why? Because it was their day off which they should have told us. They even tacked on 3 more items on the bill which we hadn’t ordered asking us to pay 5000rs+. There were broken appliances we had asked to replace, they said they would bring it with the food but they hadn’t, and never followed up.

The bothrooms had hot and cold waterround the clock Cleanliness of room was good but the most exceptional thing was that the rooms are designed based on the heritage and history of patan and nepal The staffs were super freindly helpful and the management was superb definately plan on revesiting again

The rooms didnt have any mode of entertainment if theres a tv installed in the rooms the stay will be extraordinary but bcoz of unavailability of tv or any mode of entertainment the person staying kind of gets bored after a while other than that everything was perfect

Great authentic design and location.

Cleanliness was not there. Need to put more effort on it. Our room ddnt feel like it was made up before we arrived and the bed looked used and the bath mats too. No toiletries unfortunately.
