RAD Hostel

I have stayed here several times in the past. For Colorado Springs, this is the only place I will stay. I always get a good night sleep. Super clean!

There was nothing not to like. RAD will always be a favorite.

This place is great and very comfortable. It gives that next door neighbor feeling from my childhood. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and the events. I will likely visit again.

I did not like the weather as much because it prevented some of the events. And when it is below freezing, you almost want to sleep in the bathroom shower!

Very clean and quiet

This is a wonderful place to stay. From the moment I stepped through the door I felt so welcome. The facilities are next level, the rooms are very clean, the beds are so comfy and there is lots of communal space, an extremely well equipped kitchen, laundry and patio and garden area. There is a real community atmosphere and lots going on. As a solo traveller I was delighted to be in a place with so many activities going on. I stayed for 5 nights and attended a drum circle, hot air balloon festival, bonfire, went line dancing, lots of hiking and met amazing people, both guests and staff. Erin the owner has created a lovely atmosphere and I would recommend staying here to anyone. The hostel has everything you need including bike rental. As someone travelling without a car having multiple local buses pass by made getting around very easy. I also rented a bike to cycle to the local trader joes. There is also stunning views of the mountains.

The hostel is just off a very busy main road with a few other motels. Walking around the area directly outside the hostel was not particularly nice, however once you were out of the immediate area it was fine. I did not spend much time in the area anyway as there is so much to do around colorado springs

I liked the accessibility and cleanliness. We received quick responses from staff about our questions. The design of the room was also lovely! The place was easy to find and conveniently located with great common areas!

It smelled a little bit more like weed than I would have liked outside. People totally stayed in the smoking only the area, and I don't think that it's something that could be fixed. Gluten-free options for breakfast would be nice!
