Easterhoull Chalets

Great value for money I’ve stayed at easterhoull lots of times and it’s warm,comfortable and a great location

No freezer or freezer part in the fridge would be really handy to have this. Parking can sometimes be awkward depending on how others have parked but usually no issues

The location was excellent. The property was clean and well appointed. The communal laundry room was definitely a bonus! Everything we needed to cook etc was on hand.

No freezer compartment in the fridge. Very minor issue, and not one that would prevent us booking again!

Het was voor ons erg klein. De bedden waren redelijk, maar niet geweldig.

The bed was comfortable. The garden is nice.

We booked these chalets as we enjoyed Scalloway. The cabin was dated, smelled of damp or held a musky smell. The kitchen is tiny, cooker had hair on it and was dirty. There wasn’t any sockets, therefore a 4 plug extension in points. There were open sockets with no covers, shower was cracked. The step up to the cabin itself was fairly steep. You had to be very careful when stepping in. Curtains in bedroom were wrong way around. There wasn’t any sockets little space to walk around bed, which had a wall heater in way. Floors were uneven. There are 9 cabins, all on a very steep banking. The stairs down were narrow, access is poor. There is a shared washing machine etc , you have to pay to use. The parking is at top of cabins. So lifting bags etc down is hard work. The owner, we seen in art shop. No engagement. There is guidance to ensure you clean the cabin before you leave. A note saying owners will charge £25 if cleaning is required. Didn’t feel welcoming or friendly.

Being able to self cater. The central location. The view. The gardens.

Bought own bottle opener and brushes for washing up as these were missing.

Minor details but a broom would have been nice. Steps might also be a bit difficult for some people unless there's another way in??
