Rosewood Miramar Beach

I was on a pre-Christmas road trip with my dogs and decided to book for Christmas Eve on way back to L.A. from Carmel and best decision. From the valets, to reception, to the porters everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded through Amex to a single story one bedroom bungalow and it was just lovely. The dogs were welcomed with toys and beds and bandanas and water dishes. We loved having the beach right there and enjoyed multiple walks/runs on our short visit. Lunch at the beach bar was great and the weather was gorgeous., as was the Prix Fixe dinner at AMA that evening. The delivery of milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer was such a cute touch, as were the Xmas chocolates and wreaths on all the doors. The decorations across the entire property and the carolers and snowmen making on Christmas Day were just really charming. Not to mention the bed was the most comfortable of any stay I’ve had and I can’t wait to come back to stay again. Thank you for a really special Xmas Eve for both myself and my pups!

Be welcomed with hostility throughout the property. Valet will give you anxiety shouting and yelling at you. Check in is a long wait. Restaurant hostess just stare at you with no welcome. Servers just don’t care and throw the tableware. Nobody is properly trained on this property. Best part is you pay the exorbitant price and receive terrible service and suffer from terrible food quality. The unique noise of hearing a super fast and loud train passing by and rumbling the entire property, our room is so far from the train track already but you still can hear it honking its horns every time!

One of the top resorts I’ve ever stayed at in the country hands-down! The property is absolutely stunning. Amazing restaurants, and food ! love the hotel bar vibe at night with piano. Rooms are spacious, and the bedding Top-notch. We will definitely be back.!!!

Beautiful grounds, excellent amenities

A beachfront gem in Montecito, this property is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I absolutely loved the garden cottage and the warm, friendly welcome from the staff—they truly make you feel like you’ve arrived at a special place, and it is! The spectacular grounds are impeccably maintained and magical, featuring ponds, fountains, and vibrant flowers that create an enchanting atmosphere. The pools are fantastic, and you can enjoy food, drinks, and exceptional beach service. We indulged in the Omakase experience at AMA with Chef Scott, featuring fresh fish flown in from Japan—an absolute must! We also had an incredible Michelin-starred dining experience at Caruso, where every dish was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented like art, and complemented by stunning ocean views. You’ll thank me for trying it! This resort truly has it all. While I didn’t have time to visit the spa, it’s high on my list for my next trip—and I will definitely be returning soon!

Wow! what a beautiful and well managed hotel. From stepping out of our car when we arrived to stepping back in when we left 4 days later, everything was perfect. A spectacular setting right on the beach with perfectly kept and manicured gardens to the spacious and well appointed room, we stayed in lanai room everything was perfect. All the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, the adult only pool area was beautiful and a sea of calm. We had been travelling route 1 down the coast so to stop here and enjoy the beauty and tranquility was very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. and the. wider Montecito and Santa Barbara area. We hope to be back on future travels.
