Bluebird Guesthouse

I loved the food included, breakfast and more. There was even gluten free options. Beautiful house, great neighbourhood and the bed was so comfortable! En suite bathroom was very clean and great lighting to do my makeup. Everyone was friendly, I highly recommended staying here.

Breakfast options were enough to provide variety. Lovely old house with nice main floor furnishings. Very homey feel and amazing location right in the heart of a fun, vibrant neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops.

My bed was a bit wallowed out - the mattress needs to be replaced. To access the private bathroom, I had to walk into the hallway, which was a bit inconvenient but not a problem, per se.

De locatie in een veilige buurt in Portland met verschillende foodtruck pods binnen een half uur loopafstand (Cartopia, Hawthorne Food Asylum) Het is in een relatief oud huis met karakter. Je kan de wasmachine gebruiken als je wilt en het ontbijt is behoorlijk goed.

Excellent staff, room, breakfast. A remarkably interesting guest house with equally interesting guests.

They keep breakfast items at the fridge so they're easily accessible. The location is great - walking distance to a bunch of cool stuff. The house itself is pretty quiet considering it was built in the early 1900s and there are other guests staying. I slept well the two nights I was there. The contact people at the property are very responsive.

My only regret is that I didn't book directly with them. I booked a room that has a separate bathroom and the logistics of that were difficult to get used to, it's kind of like staying at your grandma's house and you can't go out however you want to the bathroom because your cousins are down the hall

Checkin was easy. We were lucky enough to get parking directly in front, which meant we didn't have to walk or drive around the block looking for parking. I love the idea of a guesthouse or B&B instead of a standard hotel room., but this time we didn't even avail ourselves of the breakfast - it was plentiful, but...only cold items

The room was quite musty smelling when we arrived. i imagine this is from old carpet?? The bed was comfy but small - I guess I am old fashioned, but I like seeing someone there and 'contactless' check in and out isn't my fav. We did not eat breakfast, but it consisted of everything cold in the fridge.

Great place to stay near Hawthorne in Portland. Check-in was very efficient, breakfast was great, and we had everything we needed!
