Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz

This place was so charming. The area, building, service - everything was excellent! However, be mindful that there are stairs you need to walk up before getting to the elevator. I would definitely come back for my next trip to Lisbon.

The apt was extremely beautiful. An old renovated portuguese house in a very central area, with lots of restaurants and shops and 15 walking from the city centre. Overall the place was perfect for a family.

The only reason why I didn't give a 10 is the key. Casa Chafariz has a system of digital key. So prior to arrival they send you guidance on how to get this key. You need to first check in every person using the apt online and then install an app on your phone and from there download a key to open. It took a while to do all of that (including the check in ) and the app didn't work and we couldn't open the apt. But someone from the reception helped us and gave us a tag to open the door.

The property was great and we had a lovely stay. At first glance it was a bit underwhelming as there is a bit of construction around the building, but the place is super cool and the room was very nice and clean. It was really close to some cool dining spots on Green street and tons of other places to eat in all directions. The farthest walk was about 30 or so minutes to the largest tourist destinations like Pink street, the Old square, etc. The property managers replied super fast by email and we’re super responsive and helpful. Would recommend staying here in Lisbon!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. I would recommend it as a place to stay if you want an apartment or landing pad, but not a hotel. The property/room was very clean and the location was amazing. Everything was walkable for the most part. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is because we were there for three nights (four days) and despite cleaning the room they never emptied our garbage which was overflowing by day three (shopping, eating, drinking, etc) and they never gave us new towels even after four days. I’m all for conserving resources, but we even wipped up an accidently spilled coffee with one towel and they hung it back up to dry, which was a bit strange considering we only got two towels for the entire stay. Other than that, we highly recommend this property.

could do with one extra chair in the living room, we had four people in our group and one of us had to use a chair from the dinning table whenever we were in the apartment.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of the city. With abundance of life and away from heavy tourist crowds. Wish we could stay longer. Definitely recommend!
