Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz

The location is great, the apartment is lovely, fully equipped and extremely comfortable. Hosts are always attentive and helpful. We'll definitely return.

Sound proofing isn't great, you can hear the people walking on the floor above, but it didn't bother us. If you plan to sleep in the middle of the day it may be bothersome.

The stairs in the first floor before the elevator are very steep and narrow.

This is a really smart apartment in a central location, close to lots of great restaurants and places to visit. It was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen facilities provided were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful for the entire time we stayed. Highly recommended!

Great area and felt safe.

The accomodation is in a splendid old house with a fountain overlooking a small square with a little bar with coffee and cold drinks. The furniture was new and comfortable, the access system with a digital key convenient. The location in Estrella is great, within walking distance to downtown Lisbon. Great restaurant nearby. Tram 28 is very close also.

Outside in the square there was a big construction site and it could get noisy during the day. Also, during the night the street noise could be heard inside.

Very clean and comfortable, even for a larger group. We very much enjoyed staying at Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz. Jules and the team were helpful and responsive. It is a beautiful house well located in Lisbon

The check in can be a little long for a large group, and digital key not very intuitive, but eventually worked really well.

Location is great

The apartment we stayed in was a loft , it was awkward and unsuitable for our family of 5 adults , there was a dangerously steep staircase before you are able to access the lift which goes to the apartment on the 4th floor. Head height was restricted in both bedrooms , especially the second bedroom where you had to literally crawl out of the one side of the bed over the other person .the second bathroom has no door at all - not at all suitable for 3 adults to share.- especially as one of us had gastro :( The other bathroom has no blind and is looked directly onto an apartments balcony. Coffee pods were very limited and a horrible no name brand- milk for 5 people was 100ml -

The apartment is very nice and spacious. Has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, living and dining rooms. The elevator is a bit small and there’s four flights of very narrow steps to the apartment. The breakfast box was delivered at 8am each morning. It includes a croissant, jelly, bread, fruit, plain yogurt, granola and a juice. It’s the same box every morning (1 per person). I wish it would change to include more pastries, eggs, coffee. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen and the coffee pods are included in the breakfast box. The location of the apartment is good. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Uber is quite cheap in Portugal so that’s a good way to get around.
