Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz

The bathroom was large, the apartment was well equipped. The location is wonderful.

There is no door between the two living areas (bedroom and living room) limiting the functionality. The stairs to the first floor are very steep. There is an elevator from the first floor up, but not from the ground floor. It is difficult to carry luggage (more than backpacks or carryons) up the stairs. If staying here, consider packing appropriately.

The experience was fantastic, the apartment is really comfortable and tastefully design with contemporary furniture and nice touches like the exposed wooden structure, the stone kitchen counter and backsplash and beautiful ceilings combining tradition and design. It also has a lot of storage. The apartment provides also an option for breakfast and a very useful guide of the neighbourhood and general info.

The only challenging part was the first level of steps, specially for kids, elderly or heavy luggage. After that there is a lift.

Nice apt, tastefully furnished, good bed and bath

We were so impressed by Hermitage Castelo. It is extremely spacious and was absolutely spotless. We are a family of 5, with 3 teenagers and there was plenty of room. Its a beautiful apartment. We met Sónia on arrival and she was so helpful. The location is excellent, we walked everywhere. Would highly recommend this property.
