Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz

Excellent room in a good location in Lisbon. Comfortable with kitchen and washer. Close to great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We are alright but stairs to the second floor may have problem for some. Elevator equipped from second floor.

It was very clean and efficiently run. Location was great. Lots of nice cafes and coffee shops close by

The steep stairs up to the lift level. Also a lot of road construction noise.

The room we stayed in was beautiful. Comfortable, spacious everything you need. The decor tasteful and inviting. Location was great and convenient. Communication was excellent and we were greeted upon our arrival. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to family and friends. If anything I would suggest face towels as an extra for when taking a shower. It was a great experience, thank you!

The apartments were beautifully decorated & furnished, the beds were really comfortable too. The kitchen was well equiped. It was a nice touch having tea & coffee provided & having fresh milk & water in the fridge on our arrival. The team were really helpful & friendly,,answering emails promptly & giving recommendations for resturants that were suitable for the various dietary needs of some of our party. We had a lovely stay & wouldn't hestitate to stay at Casa Chafariz again.

There was nothing not to like.

Arrived in Lisbon just in time for the the power outage! After being locked in the airport for six hours and leaving with no luggage we managed to get to Casa Chafariz with no internet and frantically sending messages to the hosts with no idea if they were received . The access is usually a digital key and we arrived just as darkness was descending feeling close ( we’re were there) but yet so very far - couldn’t get in 😂 The relief when Bernardo walked up to us with a set of keys was off the chart! Once inside- even in almost complete darkness- we were blown away. At that point a tent would have been luxury but Casa Charafiz is no tent - it is stunning. Beautiful, elegant and absolutely spotless . It’s such an efficient place, the air conditioning/ heating is immediate, the kitchen and bathrooms perfect. It smells fabulous. On return of the power a great cheer from the streets of Lisbon and massive cheer from us when we could actually see what a beautiful apartment it is. Lots of messages flooded on to the phone that Bernardo had tried to send while power down, checking what he could do , if he could help - he’d even offered to collect us at the airport . We were very touched and impressed with that. Sónia ,also the host, was kind, attentive and even left a bottle of wine for us, definitely helped us get over the lack of luggage! Thanks very much Bernardo & Sónia , though we had none of our stuff for three days , we couldn’t have had a better time. Great place, great city and really lovely people. We can’t wait to come back - with clothes 🤗

Nothing. Everything was fabulous. A mirror in the bedroom would be useful when using the hairdryer but that’s just a personal preference.

The location is excellent - a very local neighborhood out of the hustle and bustle but still with lots of cafes and restaurants around. The 2 bedroom was very spacious and super comfortable - and very stylish. Staff were accessible and helpful (especially with getting our bags down the stairs) we loved our stay here

The stairs are steep and narrow and we required assistance - and staff were very helpful. There was also a bit of construction noise around - it didn’t worry us though as we were out for most of the day.
