Hermitage Castelo - Casa Chafariz

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The building had lots of character. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. The apartment was also very well located with many restaurants as well as convenience stores nearby. Our stay in Lisbon was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Everything was fine. We couldn't fault the apartment.

Great location and lovely restored building. The only drawback was the elevator starts on the first floor, not the ground, so there’s a very tall and steep flight of narrow stairs to climb to get to it. No problem unless you’re in your 80’s like we are. The staff was very responsive which was also nice.

Staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating, communicated everything clearly to me and ahead of time so I could be prepared on my arrival. The location is perfect for people wanting to be walking distance from local restaurants, plazas, parks etc. no complaints everything was perfect, apartment was clean and had all the amenities listed.

The size of the apartment was spacious and roomy. Well decorated and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The view was nice, and having a cafe down in front of the building was fun and useful. The location was great to get to wonderful nearby restaurants, cafes, and interesting neighborhoods.

The amenities stated, there was an elevator. I was relieved, as it was a big reason I booked the place. I was traveling with two seniors with canes who have difficulty walking, never mind climbing steep stairs. Unfortunately for me and my party there is a steep climb of stairs up to the elevator from the ground floor. This was mentioned in the description but I did not see it. It was my fault for not seeing that there were stairs. We managed and I learned to pay attention to details, this was not the fault of the hosts. Everything was positive.
