There were mosquitos, but host solved the problem

For the price, this was an absolute bargain. Clean and comfortable. We had a family room for 6 people with private bathroom. Breakfast was tasty. Owner family were so very helpful. If you want a budget priced stay, this is a great place.

Nothing. For the price, it exceeded expectations.

The family was really nice. The location was perfect and the owner let us a room to shower before check-in! The rooms are okay, clean and spacious enough! Breakfast was ok.

There was a little misunderstanding with our booking and had to pay extra. The photo of the room is not the same as in reality, but was okay anyways!

Jenny and George are beautiful people who can help out with everything. She’s a great cook and made breakfast on request (included). Location is perfect. Such a lovely neighbourhood with beautiful people.

We got the upstairs room which was perfect and almost like a separate house. Lovely balcony with a great view and outdoor lounge chairs. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. Room was comfortable, spacious and we had a small foyer with a pantry which had a fridge, kettle, plates, cutlery and hot plate. There was ample hand soap. Toilet was clean and we just had to ask for toilet paper and soap. Beds were comfortable and clean. AC was working perfectly, no hot water: but it's not needed in Negombo.

The included breakfast was not sufficient for 3 people and we were served only for 2. We had to ask for more on all three days for our child, which was a bit embarrassing. We had ordered dinner one night and the food is passable, ample rice but the curry was insufficient. Overall the food experience wasn't great here. Other minor gripe: one single bed was damaged and would move during sleep and the linen was torn.
