Not walkable to restaurants but short drive. No bedside lamps or convenient outlets near one side of bed. Cute well kept.

First time in Vermont. The house is beautiful. It was my birthday and the team helped me celebrate. It was very sweet. Great location. Easy in and out of town. Delicious breakfast and snacks through the day!

This is a first class property. Of the many B&Bs I have frequented, this may be the best. The breakfast is terrific, the bed was great, the quiet was just welcome.

The hotel was overall decorated well and the staff was kind and attentive. My only real complaint was the condition of some of construction. You can tell they spent more money on the decor than hiring a quality contractor. When you walk in, the hotel first floor was beautiful as was our room. But when you look closely, walls and fixtures were not repaired/constructed well. I would stay there again, but only if the price is right.

The property itself is gorgeous. The room we stayed in was on the top floor, and due to the slanted roof, the bathroom was very small and cramped. There were also tiny moths living in the bathroom. The furniture was artfully curated but uncomfortable, especially the couch in the room. The rooms also do not have TVs as you are “encouraged to unplug,” which I’ve experienced at other upscale hotels before, but since the Burlington area left quite a lot to be desired (restaurants and shops close very early), it would have been nice to have a TV. There were multiple A/Cs in the room which was very nice, as sometimes the top floor can be hot and stuffy — not in this case! The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I would recommend not booking a room on the top floor if you’re tall or need room to get ready.

"A hotel with lots of potential but some safety concerns"

6.0

My wife and I had stayed at the Blind Tiger in May and were looking forward to a return visit to Burlington at the end of the summer. We chose the same room (Mini Bar) that we had previously been in because of the lovely atmosphere and the great layout (a main bedroom with a separate living area and lots of natural light). When we had stayed in this room in May, we had pointed out to the staff that the windows in the bedroom did not have locks, which seemed unsafe for a first-floor room with easy access to a main street. This feedback had not been addressed during the three months between our visits to the Blind Tiger, and the windows were still without locks. Also, we noticed that the combination to the front entrance of the hotel remained the same as when we had previously visited. It seems prudent to change this number with some frequency to prevent easy access, especially since there is no staff person on duty at the Blind Tiger after 7:00 PM to monitor comings and goings from the property. The staff at the Blind Tiger is kind and attentive, but we feel that sustained attention to safety issues would make this a more attractive choice for visitors to Burlington.

"Loved it!"

9.0

Thought it was fabulously quirky! Loved the yoga mats - a surprise bonus. Staff were all really charming.

A bit further away from Burlington than I would have liked. Also, the toiletries provided did not have a very pleasant smell although I am sure that they were of the highest quality - everything else was.
