"A quick magical escape from city centre"

9.0

Beautiful set up, surrounded by rice fields with magical garden, yet very accessible to Yogyakarta city centre by Grab. Ecologically constructed spacious villa.

"A very tranquil place to relax, better with one more friend together."

8.0

It's located next to a rice field and inside a kind of tourist resort area. Although it's in a village but there are also some designer's shops and traditional workshop to learn technique like batik dying. The bungalow is very well renovated and has everything you need! Especially the mosquito coils. There is also a dining place next to the resident area, with some organic self farming food. I tried the breakfast and it's good !

Probably a bit far away from center (20 min by car)and it's next to a cemetery so that not so much to hang around at night.

"Lovely village experience!"

9.0

Extremely cute wood houses amid a tiny village bordering rice paddy plantation. Charming outdoor bathroom under the trees. Excellent food (breakfast and all day restaurant) and super helpful staff. Plenty of unique activities organized by the hotel. I did a bike tour of the village and it definitely was a highlight of the stay! Loved the real commitment to sustainability.

Part of the charm of the hotel is that it offers a unique and memorable village experience - but it may mean early morning start for those unaccustomed to sound (roosters, crickets and 🕌 ). Also noting that the development is Solar powered development with plenty of ventilation, but no AC.

Nice place to stay, with a great service and friendly staffs. However, installing the AC in the room should be very good remembering the hot weather.

Good healthy breakfast. Comfortable stay. Eco friendly environment. Excellent communication via WhatsApp - like it. Our bung as low faced padi field. Good to relax, walk round the village and chill from the hustle and bustle of the city especially after 2N in Malioboro

"Yabbiekayu provides a unique getaway with view of padi fields and lush gardens"

9.0

As we had to leave at 5 am for our excursions we didn’t have breakfast at Yabbiekayu. But they packed breakfast for us which came complete with hot water in a flask to make tea, coffee or milo, egg sandwich on sourdough bread and fresh fruits. Their service is superb!

Nothing that we didn’t like.

"Amazing"

10.0

Everything. The homestay is amazing. I met the architect, making it completely sustainable. The bungalows are comfortable, with lots of little extras. Coffee, stocked refrigerator with beer and wine. The resturant is farm to table. One of the best places I have stayed in Indonesia. A little outside of town but really everything is there that you need.

Nothing
