Personal and the location

It was really dirty, smelled horrible, everywhere small animals and not comfortable. I never had the feeling of wanting to stay there. The kitchen is so bad.

- ants - cockroaches - mold - bad smell - old mattresses - dirty sheets - no privacy in toilets - shower door didn’t close - cheap & broken furniture - dog running around unchecked they were fumigating the place while guests were in the property!

Nice little hostel with good breakfast. Nice staff!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The showers were good although no hot water. Common areas were cleaned everyday in the morning. Breakfast was good. Nice outdoor space. Location was great - near the Old Town, port area for day trips and Getsemani with all the restaurants and bars but far enough away it was quiet at night. Felt safe as you had to ring the doorbell to get in each time. It was quiet and chilled.

We stayed in the single bed x2 mixed dorm option which we didn’t know had a ladder leading up to it into essentially a loft which was annoying to climb up and down and a little dangerous too! The bedding was worn and there were lots of ants crawling around the bottom of it. It was an funny experience but just be warned! Also as mentioned it was quite chilled, there are no social activities organised by staff nor is it a party hostel so wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for that. Only two toilets in the main area too so not very private.

The staff were nice at the hostel and it was a good location. They are extremely strict about having things on the floor in the dorm and even fine you if you leave anything. My room was extremely musty and the “capsule” aspect of the bed made me feel like I was in a coffin. It was also the same price as the Santuario Hostel where I came from which is not fair since Santuario was way nicer. Overall it was fine to stay before an early flight.
