Hostel la Antigua Capsula

We were lied to. On the first day we paid for the apartment and everything was fine. On the last the day women told us that we have to pay more. This is due to Booking.com because we have to pay taxes. I hadn't this before. We paid the money and left. Afterwards they canceled our booking and we could no longer leave a review. We were lied to so that she could make more money. The room and the place was fine.

Had a mouse in my room. Hostel wasn't really social.

Great location and the staff are very nice and helpful, bed was comfortable and good TV in the room.

The kitchen area wasn’t the best but it did the job for a few days

The homemade breakfast was really delicious and the staff super nice. Everything was as expected and described, the AirCon worked well and we enjoyed our time here.

The room is quite small but you can tell from the pictures.

The staff was super helpful and nice. The owner really helped us with a lot of stuff. We woke up way after the free breakfast and they still offered us the best breakfast we had in Colombia. We did our laundry and it was cheap and super clean. They also printed our plane tickets. We would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Carthagena. For the cheap price, it was totally worth it. Thank you so much!!

It was a bit noisy in our room since it had dorms right above.

Location is great (located deep in Getsemaní) and service is above expectations

The room we were placed in was *unreasonably* small. When I say unreasonably it’s because it felt more like a coffin than a room. If a person had to shower or get changed, the other had to leave the room. We are probably talking ~8sq m for two people. Shower was so small my shoulders were touching both walls of it with literally no room to get washed. My 2 cents: if rooms are this small (again it’s hard to describe how small it was) the hostel should be transparent about it beforehand. We surely wouldn’t have picked it if we knew.

Really friendly staff! We could use the facilities after check out. The owner provided us with some good recommendations. She was always there for questions. Showers and bathroom were always very clean.

For me the bed was a little bit too short.
