Lovely hotel, location and staff. They also packed our breakfast since we had an early morning flight.

The rooms could be upgraded a bit, I think they have started but our room was a little dated.

Arrived late night in Lucknow after long day traveling, and the initial hotel we booked was not meeting our expectations. We had to look for another hotel and wanted to book Holiday Inn, but while very tired from the journey the day, by mistake I booked this hotel as they are very close to each other on the map and both 5 star. Because the booking was confirmed we went here. When I arrived, the place wasn't looking 5 star in any way. It's looks and feels more like 3 star. Perhaps 30 years back, it was at that level. Because of the doubt, I requested to check the rooms first and same thing, old and run down. At the reception I asked if I could cancel my booking at no cost. The person helping me confirmed that if I would request by the platform, they would cancel it without charges. So I requested the cancelation as agreed. This all happened within half an hour, from booking to cancelation. The next day, they told me that they would charge me the whole amount despite our previous agreement to waive charges. Probably, they need the money much harder than I do, and hopefully, they will use that money to invest and fix up this place as it really needs it. We had a very good stay in the Holiday Inn and don't regret that we left from here.

The staff were fantastic. Very kind and attentive. It was very clean in the hotel , the staff work hard to it clean and tidy. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Slept very well. It was great to have a beauty salon but it would be good to invest more money in that to make it even nicer. The main restaurant was good and there were lots of choices for breakfast. The service was great and so were the staff. If you’re arriving at Lucknow airport, It’s a great place to stay when arriving or leaving as airport is close by.

The punjab restaurant was a bit pricey for us. The food was good but we had perhaps ordered too much. We later ate at the main restaurant (the next evening) and which worked out better in terms of cost for us. Unfortunately the toilet downstairs in the ladies bathroom was over flowing and had flooded the entire ladies rest room. The staff responded as quickly as possible which was good.
