Sunny Island Homestay

Amazing from start to finish. We were so well looked after, the homestay family went above and beyond for us. A beautiful home, good location, free bikes to use and the pool was lovely, rooms so spacious also

The staff would stare at me and even when I smiled at them they just looked at me horribly and waved me off. Made me feel uncomfortable and was the most memorable part of my stay. The woman running it is never even there. Just has her mother do everything

i’m so blessed to find out about this homestay! located in very quiet area, with locals selling fruits and veggies on the street - so you have a fruit market just 2 min away big plus, that they have a bicycle and also they have breakfast every day :)

We liked everything. Lovely host, helped with everything you need: taxi,scooter,trips etc. We recommend definitely positive.

It’s in a nice less touristy area of hoi an, there are free bikes available to use that take 10 minutes to get to the centre of old town. If not, grabs are always available in the area and it’s about a 30 minutes walk. Everything was done to make us feel like we were at home with regular communication on WhatsApp if we needed anything, early check in is available and extending isn’t an issue if required. We had laundry done here and it was done by the evening. The rooms are large and breakfast is included in the price.

The owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating. I felt like staying with family members! Will come back once I am back in Hoi An. Thank you for the great experience!

Super sweet host lady! We had a misunderstanding about checking in time (11 a.m. / 11 p.m.) and she even came from her work space to help her mother clean the room faster so we could check-in way earlier. Extending our stay for another night was no problem at all and she gave us a bigger very nice room without charging extra. Breakfast is made freshly for you and even extra portion is offered if you want. We really enjoyed it here!
