Sunny Island Homestay

We have been traveling around Vietnam since a few weeks now, and so far is the best hotel we took! Really cozy place, clean and calm. The owner and her mom are amazing and they makes us feel like home! Taking care about every little detail, buying tickets for us, and always given us an answer every time we need it! We definitely recommend this place. Thank you for everything, it was lovely ❤️

Our room was spacious with a large and modern bathroom. The balcony was nice to have and we had a mini bar in the fridge which I thought was a great touch. Owner was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious!! I think bicycles were free and motorbikes were available at a cheap price but we chose to walk or get a very short grab into town. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely.

We loved DanThuLe and her mother, they were the kindest hosts you could wish for. Very attentive and informative throughout our whole stay. We extended our stay here as we felt we wanted more days in Hoi an and this place was a cute relaxing vibe. The room was big, spacious and clean. The selection for breakfast was good and we enjoyed the banana pancakes before heading out on our day! The place felt like a safe space and we felt that the hosts were great. We spent a lot of time chatting with DanThuLe and she has so much information about the town and tours which is always helpful. There is free bicycles to use which we took full advantage of through our 4 day stay, you can get to the main town within 10/15 minutes by the bicycle and we enjoyed the route.

We felt that we were being asked too much about what we were doing and what our plans where and if we wanted to book on tours etc which I understand that’s how they make their money on commissions but we felt we would prefer a more laid back approach so that it felt more of a relaxing atmosphere and no pressure.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating. Helped plan activities for my time in Hoi An and made my time there super special.

- The bedroom was very spacious and the balcony was lovely to be out on at night. - The showers were hot. - The bed was comfy. - Mrs Thu and her mother are lovely hosts. Although Mrs Thu’s mother doesn’t know much English, you can get by and she’s such a pleasure to be around. Our sleeper bus didn’t get in until 5am and she kindly woke up to check us in so we could get some rest. - The breakfast is delicious, especially the banana pancakes. - The pool was lovely and a good temperature. - We were able to hire a motorbike from her neighbour for the duration of our trip. I believe she also has free bicycles you can use to cycle into town.

The room was clean and nice. For breakfast, you could choose from 3 meals. The owner was nice and helpful but sometimes too pushy for selling any tickets and tours.

Location is not the best but you can take bike for free and you will vet quickly to the city.

Everything the host Thu and her Mom are amazing. The room was equipped with a silent powerfull airco and the shower was just the best ever. Thu is really helpful in helping you book trips and has a wealth of knowledge on sightseeing. Sitting by the enclosed pool it gives you a chance to meet up with other travellers and the owners join in if they have time out of their busy lives. It is a bit further out of the town, but the bicycles are fun to ride.
