mist at Cape Tribulation

We loved it! This was our final stay in Australia and it was 150% worth it. The place is very remote, relaxed, peaceful and in the middle of the forest. If we only knew, we would have stayed longer. This is a little peace of heaven. Lilian is great! We loved her, such a nice, one of a kind lady and host. We hope to come back soon and stay longer. The bed was cosy, big large room, great patio surrounded by nature.

Prachtige locatie. Lilian is een geweldige gastvrouw. Voldoende koffie, je kan hier heerlijk buiten zittenop de veranda. Ik kreeg een zachter kussen, heel fijn.

We chose his location being so close to the Cape tribulation horse riding meet up point. We loved how friendly the host was.. very welcoming and hospitable. The bed was so comfortable and it is quite a nice room. The host seemed to think of everything. We had forgotten our deck of playing cards and found some in the room. There was spray for sandflies. Lots of kitchen utensils and handy items. Very hot water for the shower which is pleasing to me because there are a lot of places we stay with shower water not hot enough. Very much enjoyed our stay - 2 nights. Private. Pretty. Pleasing.

We didn’t like the fact there were sandflies making it impossible to sit on the patio and enjoy the views… In saying that, I don’t think you’d escape it in Cape tribulation so it wasn’t really the fault of the host.

prachtige locatie midden in het regenwoud - maar toch alle comfort voorradig - proper en net - duidelijke richtlijnen en informatie - erg behulpzame gastvrouw (zelfs een zakdoek die ik vergeten was in de kamer werd in mijn volgende hotel terug bezorgd!)

Beautiful isolated cabin surrounded by rainforest. Sounds of the forest were wonderful

You have to experience the location to fully appreciate its beauty. Everything was super clean and organised. Wish we stayed longer!

The hosts were very accommodating. This is a location to rest and reflect or equally base your Cape Trib adventure in modern and eco-friendly digs. Full size fridge, cooking on BBQ and microwave. Good WiFi and mobile reception on site

Plan your Cape Tribulation visit well. Roads are treacherous, safe swimming and camping locations limited. Facilities away from accommodation nonexistent including mobile coverage. It is a wilderness area.
