The Lodge at Koh Kood

An incredible stay! The place was spotless and very comfortable. Although we only met the staff on arrival day, everything was perfectly taken care of.

Walkable to beach, great restaurants accessible by scooter which you can rent right there. They will also do your laundry. Replenished water and coffee in room. Would stay again !

Very helpful owner, efficient, helped straight away with tv issue, brought us new tv. Helped straight away with getting two bikes and sorted brake downs both times in the 7 days. Very hard working cleaner, cleaned everyday. Nice size room, loved room number one, watched big storm out of big window. Easy walk to lovely beach, nice places to eat in 15 mins walk, ideally bikes better. Easy road, nor busy. Lovely run 6/7 room place, impressed.

Great location - just a few min away from our favorite beach on the island. The place is new and clean. The owner was very kind and helpful.

The Lodge is not a classical beach resort, but rather a neat little bungalow site in a quiet setting while still being very close to one of Kood's wonderful beaches. Don't be irritated by them not having a regular reception. Wat, the Thai owner, who speaks perfect English, is around most hours during the day and can be called if anything arises. For me, he was a great support during my stay, super friendly and helpful with my special requests. He is extremely service-minded and a genuinely nice guy. Also, Nui, the main staff at the time of my stay, was very sweet and forthcoming. She will help with the overnight laundry service of the resort and any housekeeping issues. The rooms are spacious and very well-kept. There was a big fridge and a water heater with a choice of coffee and green tea in the room. They provided daily drinking water and nice big beach towels. Since I had to work quite a few hours on the computer, I enjoyed the little corner in my room with a table type board and a comfy chair. Wifi was of good quality. The area around the resort is a big green lawn with a few trees. Amazingly, and for me, super important, there were near to no mosquitoes around (January). That's worth mentioning since there are no mosquito screens in the windows of the rooms. There is no restaurant or breakfast onsite. But the beach with all its bars and restaurants as well as some roadside cafés up the road are in easy walking distance. I had my breakfast at Yaks' Café, which hands down has the best grilled sandwiches ever! Important to mention: The Lodge offers great motorbikes for rent (300 Baht per day). Brakes and lights and all in excellent condition. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and want to thank Wat and Nui once again for their kindness and welcoming service.

Good value for money. Clean, big rooms/small house w fridge, water, te/coffee in room and easy to reach the staff. 5-10 minutes walk to lovely beach, some resorts for evening dinners and of course enjoy the beach. Breakfast and treats att Little cafe 400 meters up the road is great.
