Lovely spot located to the West Dennis Beach

Customer service was excellent! They reopened the gift store for us to shop, they gave us great ideas on places to see and things to do!!

We got there a bit early, had to wait beyond the 3pm check in, but the hosts were very gracious and provided us breakfast for two days for the inconvenience. The grounds, the properties on them are so quaint and well appointed, very comfortable stay.

We had a beautiful wedding at the Lighthouse Inn on 10/13/2024 at 1130am. We and some of our guests (40 out of out 130 guests) stayed on site and had a blast. The cottages were the typical quaint and rustic Cape vibe that we love. Plenty of space in our 1 bedroom cottage and the grounds were beautiful to hang out at throughout the weekend. Carri was our coordinator and throughout the entire process she answered every email and had multiple calls with me to make sure everything was set. She also seemed to work great with our wedding planner. She managed our rehearsal and was there the day of to coordinate. The wedding ceremony itself was amazing and right on the beach, you really could not ask for a better set up. Going into our cocktail hour we were greeted by staff (special shout out to Daniel!) who made sure we got our appetizers, drinks, and a moment alone together before the party started! Main reception room was perfect and looked just as I had pictured it. We had decor and flowers, but it really is a space that has charm and speaks for itself and you cannot beat the view! Food was delicious and our specialty drinks were great. Had a great party and so many compliments on the venue. We have been going to the Cape my entire life and somehow have never stumbled across the LHI until wedding planning. I'm so glad that we picked this spot and it will now be a wonderful memory to look back on. I am looking forward to future visits to the LHI and am so grateful!!

Access to nice beach was great.

Perfect location for a peaceful beach getaway conveniently located and away from hustle and bustle of Dennisport. Staff very kind and accommodating. Lovely bar and restaurant. Beautiful sunsets. Great walking and private beach.

The cottage we were assigned was entirely comical. It was miniature, and you could hardly manage one person, let alone two adults, in the space. The room smelled musty and like mildew. The restaurant had limited food and drink options, and the service wasn't great. We waited at our table for over ten minutes before we were served water and provided a chance to order. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, there were 3 tables including us.

The location of the inn was ideal-right on the ocean and close to quaint spots such as Harwichport and Chatham. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the magician and s'mores at the bonfire. Hot and cold breakfast included in the price was convenient. The beachfront was just ok-small with lots of seaweed. The property though charming with the working lighthouse and piano player at dinner, is old and sorely in need of upgrades. The cottage we stayed in was difficult to enter-the threshold was too high and the top of the door was too low so we had to take quite a step up and bend down to enter-not easy on the knees. Old and tattered furniture was found within and the air conditioning unit was filled with dust. Food was just ok. Though most of the staff was personable and helpful, one individual sadly stood out as unfriendly, unaccommodating and completely rude and that was Ben in the dining room. Would we return with the family again? Probably not.
