Lighthouse Inn

The beach is nice, the restaurant was ok. The property has all the amenities you could want, pool, tennis, games, mini golf, playground etc. Try to reserve one of the cottages, definitely do not stay at the carriage house, I won't go into much detail, just that it's very dated, it's clean, but we encountered some issues with our "tiny" room and the parking near it. The price was exorbitant for what we got. but if you want views of the beach and stars and don't care about the price and how small the rooms are, stay here, it was worth it just for the meteor shower.

Property was nice and staff was friendly. Although we did not get the room we booked which was disappointing as we booked a room with a view and received a room with no view. Do not be late for breakfast!!! We arrived at 9:30 and was told we could not have breakfast as they stopped serving at 9:30, I can appreciate rules but surely coffee and toast wasn’t too much to ask for. It was a pretty property and overall the stay was nice, just wish they had been a little more accommodating.

Our second year visiting and it won’t be our last. Beach is very peaceful and while it is small it is never crowded. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are always available. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and it was surprisingly good. The setting on the lawn overlooking the ocean was perfect.

We stayed here because it was directly on the beach, and also had a pool, playground, and restaurant on site. Very family friendly, we were bringing our almost 2 year old to the beach for the first time and did not want to have to drive between what would likely be short visits to the beach. Lots of kids of various ages running around all day, and seemed to all be having the time of their lives. Housekeeping staff was amazing at working around our nap schedule (hard to clean up when there's a kid napping for 3 hours of the workday, but they came early and discussed our needs, and went above and beyond. I told them we really just needed the trash can emptied and new towels, and was amazed that they vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom, and made the beds during what was probably only a 1 hour window of us being at the beach).

The Lighthouse Inn has the feel of a bed and breakfast with the amenities of a hotel—the best of both worlds. My friend and I stayed in an oceanfront room and loved it. We had access to the porch overlooking the Nantucket Sound from our room with Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the view. The beach was great for swimming (we were both training for a triathlon) and there is also a pool and putt putt course. The bar and restaurant are lovely and comfortable with outdoor seating. A full breakfast buffet is included and was a great way to start the day. Highly recommend!

Simple cape style cottages set up in a village setting walking distance to beach, lighthouse and pool

I was lucky enough to have my wedding reception here. The views on the back patio overlooking the ocean was incredible for the cocktail hour. Then the dining room area was awesome with a nice cross breeze during the evening. Food was delicious. We choose the beef filet and lobster tail Wellington. Highly recommend! A great venue

We sat at the bar at the Inn and had the BEST bartender! Michelle was professional, personable and fun! She gave great recommendations, and gave us details of the inn’s history. Michelle made a fabulous drink too! We will definitely be back!
