Clarysville Motel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at CLARYSVILLE Motel and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and offered all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the housekeeping team ensured everything was spotless throughout my stay. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service – every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options. The location was perfect – close to [local attractions/transport], yet peaceful and quiet at night. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room smelled of heavy cleaner and smoke. Did not stay .

Not far from Frostburg campus. Easy to get to not being familiar with the area. In town for graduation

There was no where to hang clothes or drawers to put anything in. I didn’t need a full size refrigerator would rather have had a closet for good clothes to hang in. Also lamp, coffee pot , and microwave had no outlet to plug into. It was just inconvenient. Store available in office but continental breakfast would have been nice.

Good location.

Room was pretty dirty. Paint peeling and bathroom rug was dirty. Dust on a lot of surfaces. Beds were only full size so small for 2 people but room was small as well. The owners must have asked me three times if I smoked, which I never have, and told me multiple times not to smoke in room. This is okay since I don’t like cigarette smoke in room, but it was excessive.

The mid-sized refrigerator was the largest I've experienced at any hotel or Airbnb I've stayed at. Loved it, since everything in my large cooler fit easily in there (even my 8 ice packs). The room was rather small, but fine for my needs. The shower, however, was quite spacious. If you stay here, remember to turn the water on about 2 minutes before stepping into the shower to allow time for the water to warm. It gets quite hot once the hot water arrives. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, professional and helpful. There was also a great Italian restaurant (Bella Napoli on Green St. in Cumberland) that served me the largest lasagna I've ever ordered anywhere. It made two good meals. The staff there was wonderful also.

There is a side road running down the end of the property. Vehicles coming out of there sometimes gun their engines when making a left turn since they are turning onto a steep hill. Nothing the motel owners can do about that, but at least that noise doesn't happen hardly at all at night when it might affect sleeping.

Our hotel room was clean and the staff was kind! They offered us a free bottle of water upon arrival. Our room had a huge refrigerator which was also really wonderful!

The only issues were that a large chunk of the beds headboard was broken off leaving an exposed nail right above my head while I slept. The chair by the door was a bit dirty and my bed sheets had a hole burned in it.

Great location and nice quiet hotel

Not a terrible place, but not very good. It was comparatively inexpensive, and for good reason. The good… It was very clean and conveniently located. The WiFi was decent. The check in and out was quick and easy. The not so good… It was loud (road noise and the room heater). It was bright with inadequate curtains. The one mattress was old and rolled you off the edge. I could find only one accessible outlet for the phone charger. The smoke alarm went off, gave a single piercingly loud tone, twice during the night. And they gave us the wrong room (booked a queen got two doubles). All in all, if you need someplace to crash for the one night, at least it’s cheap. But I don't recommend staying here if you’re looking to visit the area for more than a day.

Typical older motel. Small room without closet, writing desk, straight chair, or suitcase rack. Older large refrigerator, and overstuffed chair (with small stain). Bed too soft. Excellent staff!
