Cabañas Christophe

The cabanas are beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. It was very handy to have a kitchen provided and the fresh bread every morning was very welcome. The location is very pretty, just at the base of Rano Kau volcano, and there is a short hike you can do to the top of the crater straight from the property. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the island, and Christophe and Rosario are excellent hosts.

This is a very minor point, but I would maybe make it a little clearer that the included drop off at the airport at the end of the stay is at a set time. It was a little early for me so I ended up booking a taxi instead. For those not intending to book a car, be mindful it is a 30 minute walk from the centre of Hanga Roa. I was aware of it and the walk itself was fine (even in the dark), but by the end of the stay I wished I had a mode of transport for the sake of speed (Christophe did offer a scooter for hire).

Me gustó la amabilidad de los anfitriones. La cabaña completamente equipada y cómoda. Además, viene incluido el transfer de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto.

Rosario und Christophe sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und haben mir bei jedem Anliegen weitergeholfen, z.B. mit Kontakten für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten oder Vorschlägen zur Fortbewegung auf 4 oder 2 Rädern. Sie haben auch bei An- und Abreise für einen herzlichen Empfang und reibungslosen Flughafentransfer gesorgt. Die Cabañas sind nicht im Zentrum von Hanga Roa und deshalb herrlich ruhig mit Ausblick auf Rano Kau, Hügel und das Meer (je nach Cabaña). Ganz zu schweigen von den Pferden und Kühen die vorbeikommen. Mein Cabaña hatte ein grosses Schlafzimmer mit Doppel- und Einzelbett, ein funktionales Bad und eine Küche mit Tisch und Sitzgelegenheit. Im Kühlschrank hatte es eine Flasche Fruchtsaft, etwas Butter und Konfitüre und zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag zwei frische Brötchen. Aber die Terrasse war mein Lieblingsplatz

Muy buena atención, nos ayudaron en todo, viajamos con un bebé de 5 meses y nos facilitaron información, contactos. Las cabañas muy comodas con todo lo necesario, estan frente a un lugar muy magico para tener lindas caminatas y disfrutar un atardecer mirando el mar. Rosario y Christophe excelentes anfitriones!

Everything was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic, with a great view of the sunset. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We also booked tours through them, and they were fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning to stay there.

The host were fantastic the location was very good a lot of things to see and do around the property and very short walk into town, and the cutest puppy in the world that comes around to visit
