Villa Mari

Villa Mari is a gorgeous recidence for you vacation. With enough rooms to change the bed you sleep in every night and an enourmous garden you can definetly relax to your hearts content. The Villa also comes equipped with a grill and the owner luca provides you with the coal. Luca was nice from beginning to end, meeting us at our arrival to show us the Villa and hand over the keys. There is also a parking spot onsite, so you don't need to worry about parking, which is a amazing in Italy. ### Read well, when arriving you have to pay a 300€ security deposit that you receive back at the end of your holiday. This was no problem at all but we didn't see it in the online description and nearly gave away all our cash. So just make sure to pack 300€ more in cash for the deposit! ###

Beautiful villa, wonderful view from every window, everything is thought out to the smallest detail! We have had here a really good time with our family and didn’t want to leave. Many thanks to the owner of the villa Luca!

We stayed there with our little baby. Luca provided us the cot and even the high chair. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. There was also a washing machine which is a lifesaver when you have a baby. The garden and the view is great. We really spend nice time in the terrace. The location is very close to Varenna and the ferry in case you want to visit the other towns accessible by ferry.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It is a minor point but if would be also nice to have just very basic things in the kitchen such as salt/pepper.

The views were amazing from the Villa. We had a beautiful view from the main bedroom in the morning and then we continued this view with views from the balcony for breakfast and long into the evening for dinner on the balcony. The Villa was set-up for everything. The pool and sun deck are in the right place in the garden for the sunshine. The Al Fresco dining was perfect in the evening set-up with crockery a. outdoor fridge and sink. The whole place is much more spacious than it looks and as a family of six (Grandparents included) we had enough space to be together or be on our own. There was a washing machine in the Villa which was useful and there was a rack that we could put out on the balancing to dry out clothes or towels. The children got in the pool everyday even if they had already been swimming in the lake. Luca was a great host and if we needed anything at all we could just ask. The only mention for older people would be the amount of steps from the Villa to the garden - but this should be expected as it is in a mountainous region.
