Unique 1570 house - quaint but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Frau Holle was an exceptional host. lovely shop with lots of different types of goods. A very quiet position in a beautiful setting.

The location is perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk across the square to the town hall, church, and castle. The breakfast was nice and we liked being able to shop in the store. The room was very comfortable and the house was overall beautiful and interesting.

We arrived at the check in time, at noon, but nobody was there so we had to wait a couple of hours to be let in. The breakfast was very nice but a bit more variety would be appreciated.

Lovely spacious, comfortable room in a beautiful historical building, friendly and helpful host, great breakfast, beautiful location, parking in front.

Steinau is beautiful, but everything is closed the first week of January and nobody updates their websites. It's a beautiful town, but doesn't have a lot of restaurants or bars.

We liked the location being in the center of the town.

It was a hard walk from our parking place to the inn.
