"Beautiful Guest House with a Wonderful Host"

Amazing stay, super friendly host, delicious breakfast. Maria was so friendly and couldn't do more. The house and gardens are perfect, our room was very clean and comfortable and we look forward to going back very soon.

"A lovely quiet and comfortable B&B"

The location was very good for us. Only a short drive to Howden and Goole and very handy for a day trip into the Wolds. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotless. The cooked breakfasts were delicious!

Maybe more shelving in the bathroom? But no big deal.

"Excellent comfortable stay with great breakfast in with a very hospitable hostess!"

The location was perfect for our purposes. The hostess Maria couldn’t do enough for us and was very hospitable. We had an accident and broke something but Maria handled it very graciously and despite our insistence, she didn’t let us pay fully for the replacement! The breakfast was excellent and the property was configured in such a way that we had our own lounge, although we didn’t have time to use it. There was also a charming patio with comfy chairs available to guests. The property was in easy reach of York and Maria suggested the Park & Ride facility which was located in an outlet mall which we also visited on our way to York.

The double bed was too small, although there was use of an additional single bed in the room. The linen and pillows were very fresh and comfortable.

"A Gem Of A Find."

Maria couldn't do more to make us welcome. Perhaps this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, especially for the very reasonable price Highly recommendable. 🙂👍.

Nothing to complain or talk about at all!

There wasn't any think to dislike , we were made very welcome and Maria the landlady was fantastic and the whole place was spotless, comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent. We would recommend every one to use this BB if their in this part of Yorkshire

The weather!!. There wasn't anything to dislike unless you don't like fresh laid eggs for breakfast from Maria's chickens. To be honest you would have to be ultra fussy to find fault
