Field View B&B

We parked in the cricket club car park, just across the road from the property. We were greeted warmly and shown around. The rooms are to the rear and are lovely and quiet. The room had all we needed for our stay & nice big towels. There is a sitting area downstairs with a TV, small fridge & a microwave & table set for breakfast, We sat here a while on an evening with the patio doors open. Breakfast, wow, the freshest eggs ever (we met the hens on our arrival!). I had an omelet which was absolutely fantastic. We ate at the local pub, a 2 min walk from the property, both nights. The food was great as was the atmosphere. Hopefully we will be back

Good size twin room. Clean and modern bathroom with big shower. Excellent breakfast. Dedicated breakfast and living room for guests. Maria is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble and is very accommodating. Good amount of free parking available.

Nothing significant, so just minor observations/suggestions: TV position in twin is a little awkward when watching in bed, and, being a house, you can sometimes hear guests in common areas/stairs.

Very friendly host, very clean, great shower, use of sitting-room with good books as well, its like being in a small house alone.

No comfy chair in the bedroom, though not a problem because full use of sitting-room. Basic chair for computer table in room, but if I had asked I am sure the host Maria would have arranged a better chair for me. Plus it wasnt really a computer table, but I was there for work and used it as such.

We had a an enjoyable stay at Field View. Maria was very accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable, the facilities were good and a wide range of food for breakfast. The local pub was a 5 minutes walk away which had a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely come back again to Field View.

Very clean and comfortable, well equipped with towels tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits etc very spacious and warm super host and breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

Nothing not to like.

Friendly, helpful, quiet location, flexible host, comfortable room & beds. I wanted for nothing.
