La Paix Hue

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. All can speak English. Excellent breakfast with many choices- western or Vietnamese. Love the Vietnamese choices. Breakfast include 2 dishes, beverage and dessert. Clean comfortable. View of river.at the breakfast area. Bed comfortable. Room was nice. Hotel is quite new. Staff helped me to arrange transportation. Good value.

Next to hotel is coffee shop some time with rather laud music. Change my room to the far side from the coffee shop and was quiet. A bit distance away from the main tourist area with more good food choices. Only 15-20 minutes walk.

My stay at La Paix Hue Riverside Villa was pleasant overall. While the villa is a bit out of town, it provided a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The standard room, while not particularly thrilling, was comfortable and nice enough for a short stay. The highlight of my experience was the friendly staff, who were always helpful and accommodating. For a two-night stay, the villa served its purpose well. However, if you're looking for something more luxurious or centrally located, you may want to explore other options in Hue.

The room itself wasn't high from the ground floor and the balcony felt unsafe. People passing by the window could easily gain access. The area itself was fine, however late at night felt slightly off-putting.

The location was great, backing onto a river and also within a quick Grab (taxi) ride to the Imperial City. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful with arranging bike hire and a trip up the river. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Room very spacious and clean. Perfect for us for a 2 night stay.

Our room was listed as garden view, this was stretching it somewhat as we looked out to a fence with some plants on it within about 2 feet. But we didn't mind as we only used the room to sleep as we were out all day and when we were back we sat out the back looking over the river.

Breakfast was good. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the town centre. The staff arranged some trips for us and did so very efficiently.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location and they called us a boat to go to the pagoda and forbidden city direct from the hotel mooring
