Hidden Gem Barbados

The attention to detail was impressive. It was well stocked. The pool was clean, cleaned sun beds, nice smelling towels, and soft. The host, Ameena, was incredible. Nothing was a problem. She drove us into Oistins for dinner and drove us home. We didn't have enough cash, so we went to go to the ATM, but she just gave us the money and then drove us to the ATM. Who does that? Breakfast was what you would like, I had eggs with toast, not a hard meal to whip up but done with care. We asked her lots of questions about the island, and she had all the answers. Unfortunately, the location is out of the way. You would need a car. And to be fair, the roads are in rough shape, so if you hire a car, beware of the pot hole. On the other hand, I guess that's what it was about. A hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle

My stay there was quiet and very serene, which was precisely what I needed after a very long year, along with a vacation. Ann Marie and Ameena took great care of me while I was there and while I was there I swam every day and hungout in the rear of the home while having a few drinks.

We only had a one night stay due to a canceled flight. So surprised once we arrived. It was absolutely beautiful. Ann Marie made you feel like you were at home. The facility had all the amenities of a high-end hotel Gorgeous pool, bar, veranda's and a block from the ocean. It is the best B&B I have ever experienced. I highly recommend if you are looking for quiet, tranquil beautiful accommodations. Perfect for couples to unwind after a busy day. Next time we visit we will be staying at the Hidden Gem. Hidden Gem is an oasis. A tranquil serenity comes over you as you enter the property. It is a very special home away from home with every detail thoughtfully thought out. Ann Marie is exceptionally wonderful and we are grateful that we had the opportunity to stay there. We will definitely stay there again.

We liked the quiet retreat, restful stay and comfortable environment.

Great little place with only 5 rooms and a small private swimming pool. More like staying in someone's luxury home (you need to take your shoes off at the door to go in). I chose a bedroom on the ground floor with direct access and view of the swimming pool, which was lovely to have. The pool area is awesome with even has sunshades strung above it so you can always find some shade even when you are in the pool. At the end of the pool there is a comfy shaded seating area with sofas and also a large fully stocked bar, with beers, spirits, wines and mixers. The bar largely operated on an honesty system, and you were free to pour yourself a drink or take a beer from the fridge at any time. They also made up fresh rum punch on a couple of days. Breakfast was made to order and was very good.

I thought that the airport pickup and drop off was a bit overpriced at 25USD paid to the driver, it is only a 10 minute drive from the airport to the accommodation.
