Personne pour nous accueillir et aucune information donnée pour accéder au logement. Nous avons été obligés d'appeler depuis notre téléphone français avec les frais qui vont avec. La chambre n'était absolument pas faite pour accueillir 2 lits doubles, nous étions donc très à l'étroit.

The Whitmore Inn was like stepping back to another time. The rooms are decorated in the era the Whitmore was built. But had the conveniences of modern day. Right across the street from the museum & easy walk through town. Great experience!

Hotel pension de charme au coeur de la petite bourgade. Chambre bien équipés, salle de bain complète. Espaces communs coquets et bien équipés. Jardin bien entretenu qui accueille d'ailleurs occasionnellement les chevreuils. Décoration générale qui a son charmé d'antant mais qui peut paraître un peu chargée.

Isolation un peu mince entre les chambres, et selon les chambres, le bruit de la route.

It felt like home should be. They give you a key for your room to lock the door, but after opening for the first time, we never used it because it felt so safe and inviting, just like a real home should feel. Like mi casa es su casa, but like they really meant it!

There was nothing I found objectionable about the property. I did worry about bringing any drink up to the room for fear of damaging the beautiful antiques. If there was something to put your tea or other drinks on that would be safe from moisture for the furniture. If there was something, I missed it. I used the tray that held the glasses when I brought up tea to enjoy in the room.

Nice, charming Victorian era stately home.

No air conditioning. Just a malfunctioned oscillating fan. The room got hot and stuffy, Windows couldn't open because they were painted shut. Had to open our door to get air from the hallway.

Such a beautiful property to stay, very tranquil and peaceful with a lovely courtyard to stay in. We did stay in the loft which does not offer AC and there is only a screen on 1 window. It got uncomfortably hot in there. Would recommend some sort of portable unit or at last a box fan. The kitchen worked great for all the baking I did for an event I was attending in town.
