The Whitmore Inn

Great stay in a Victorian b&b style hotel. Gorgeous accommodations and property.

Very homey, was alone in the entire inn, and very comfortable. The property also had a cat named Ellie and she was so cute and even ran into our room to say hi.

The shower went cold very fast, the location is in a fairly sketchy area, and there was no heater so the room was very very cold all night. There weren’t many blankets and only 2 pillows on the bed.

Very unique, well-maintained Victorian inn. Lovely and very helpful inn keeper, who was on-site when we checked in and out. Coffee and snacks provided and convenience of using and storing food in the kitchen. The Tapestry room which we booked was the only room on the first floor and right next to the dining/sitting rooms. So not as private but the room was well appointed including the bathroom/shower.

Pretty loud road if you are in the front bedroom. Couldn’t open the blinds.

Location to downtown. Cool house and property. Friendly service. The owner made our stay very enjoyable.

Lovely owner. Room was convenient with the parking space right outside our door.

It was somewhat dark inside, but not a big deal.

Beautiful place, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Walking distance to everything downtown. Great history to discover in town. Love the cats on the property too!
