Very clean modern flat with modern facilities. Good bbq and washing machine. Great views. Very friendly host who was very helpful and informative. Below lovely little bar with excellent coffee and snacks.

"Superb"

Very big room, plenty of space. Great view on the landscape below (you are 500m high on sea level). Beautiful big french doors which let in a lot of light in the living room and in the main bedroom. Kitchen is well equipped so you can easily prepare lunch or dinner. Bonus: the bar above is run by flat owners and it is very good and cheap, good for early breakfast (try empanadas and pastel de nata, they are huge!)

In the second bedroom there were a bit of mustiness and staleness. The bathroom has no windows. Kitchen furniture is a bit old, but still well operating.

"Highly recommend!"

Very spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Location was very good for exploring the west side of the island. Host was very welcoming and helped recommend some things to do in the local area. Very handy information book inside and a guest book (nice touch!). Snack bar above was lovely and the coffee excellent! The bar seemed to be very popular in the morning with locals, a big positive in our eyes.

The apartment was lovely, and a lot bigger than it had looked in the photos. The view from the balcony was beautiful, & the hosts were super friendly. It was a convenient location to stay in order to move around Madeira by car. Thank you for this great stay!

"Superb"

Very spacious, convenient for south coast activities, lovely welcome gift, lots of amenities, friendly host. In the mornings, the bar has homemade empanadas which are great.

The apartment is located under a bar so there are some noises of moving chairs upstairs. It was not a big deal for me but might be an issue for very light sleepers. The bar is open from 0600 until 2100.

Large, spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. A good base for exploring the island. Thank you very much for the nice welcome with delicious Madeira specialties!

In December it was a little chilly- we had to reheat with a heater. Smell of humidity.
