Location, confort, owners were lovely and helpful.

the apartment is very well-equipped if you want to cook by yourself, it has two separate bedrooms and a comfortable living area, The hosts were very helpful and nice, and they have a snack bar upstairs which is a plus. The bed was very comfortable and you have a nice view from the balcony, you have a place to grill :) with nice weather, you can really see the ocean. I think it is a very good option for this price range and location. There is a parking space you can use right before the gate.

I saw some dust, but nothing serious. You can feel the smell of humidity but I guess this is common in such places just open the windows and you'll be fine :) You can see some small cigarette butts right before the entrance, but this is because of the snack bar's guests. you'll never change it :D

Parking at the door, quiet location, spacious and clean rooms and the kitchen equipped with all the necessary dishes. The hosts are working at the cafe upstairs and are very helpful

You can hear the cafe upstairs opening and preparing for the day around 7 am, but it's a very mild background noise, won't wake up if you don't sleep light. For me it even helped to get up at the right time to go out for a hike

Nice place in a small village, top terrace to chill and sunbath which features a pretty good view of the mountains. Good supermarket in proximity. The host was also very kind. We enjoyed it a lot and already miss the spot :(

The bar above opens very early in the morning and the noise would wake us up a bit. Also, we would welcome a built-in net against insect + the bedroom doors to have a possibility to be opened only as a ventilation for night.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Mao-Cheia. The location of the apartment is very convenient to travel to various island attractions. The place was clean and spacious and it had all the necessary amenities. But the best part was that our hosts were amazing! Friendly, always available, we instantly felt like part of the family. We even celebrated a birthday together and everything was perfect. 10 stars!

Nice coffe bar amidst locals above the house. Really friendly staff and mix in with the village feel to it.

Excellent cozy house located in a quiet town with a beautiful view. Warm attitude of the house owners to you, ready to help or invite you to taste delicious freshly cooked pancakes with meat in the bar above the house (any noise from the bar above the house is completely absent at any time). A bottle of local wine will also be waiting for you upon arrival. The house is very clean, there is even a washing machine where you can quickly wash clothes. There is a place for a barbecue and coals, so if you wish, you can make barbecue. Panoramic windows allow you to constantly enjoy beautiful views and a big bed presents good sleep. Excellent internet quality. I would like to note the presence of a coffee maker and ground coffee, which will make it possible to taste delicious coffee in the morning. From the house it is convenient to get to the Levada 25 fountains and the Fanal forest.

Very spacious apartment, there is all you need. Nice view and near to the beach and stores.

The property is in a good location, you are a quick drive from the beach and you have a shop nearby with the essentials. The owners are lovely and really take the extra step to make sure you are happy and everything is going well. We were two and it was perfect for us, the kitchen is well equipped and you can eat outside to enjoy the sun.

Nothing to say. I would gladly come back.

The host was very friendly, there were all of the appliances that we needed and more, the house was very comfortable and clean. We didn’t have problems with parking as there is a spot reserved just for the apartment.
