The Stuart Hotel-Motel

It was great, just as we expected. And a very friendly and kind staff that help us as we entered the accommodation. So we are very thankful to for her kindness and help.

There is none.

The whole booking process with safe codes etc is very impersonal. Might be okay for young yuppies but mature adults still prefer a face to talk to. The main issue was location and parking. The motel is located in centre of Katherine in a location that is popular with the local indigenous, the parking is on street which poses a significant risk overnight. We were so adverse to the location and risk that we didn’t bother even getting out of the car and booked a room somewhere else, which had real people and gated off street parking for about the same cost. Very disappointing and wasted money.

Not for us

Hardly any space in front of the room. Laundry room was dirty and dryer not working. The parking is too small for cars to move around and the gate for parking is not working from inside, so someone needs to walk all the way to outside to open the gate. Too noisy at night time. Very less facilities and rooms are not spacious for three people.Only one blanket was available for three, later given on request. No reception area. The phone was not answered or late. Did not enjoyed the stay at all.

Items not stored away left outside eg pillows on 1st floor Room door 7 gets stuck when opening and closing I would like to stay in a different room nxt time
