Dirty, very noisy, very expensive: 4 and 5* hotels were cheaper so we left. Manager very pushy to make me pay as soon as I arrived.

All good. Nice, big, clean room. Late check-in after midnight no problem. Breakfast local and American. Very friendly stuff. Some good music from the Hotelbar. I would come back.

Bathroom needs attention

The grass is well kept and pool is clean.. gardener is very friendly and will pick you a coconut from the garden if you ask..

Well it’s says when we booked early check in and late check out is available. How ever we arrived very early 8:30 am! I messaged the night prior to confirm early check in and when we where on route we got a response saying it’s not possible or we should pay by the hour for time before 2pm as early check in is impossible… Interesting as there was not one person in the hotel, eventually I agreed to pay for 2 nights if we could check in on arrival and check out 8pm the next night… again with an empty hotel… I have stayed in many hotels all over and simply the attitude around this was a bit 🤏 of putting… The shower takes very long to get hot around 7-10 minutes.. hotel is incredibly run down, through out staff are terribly trained and food is terrible. I can’t see one thing they getting right, beach is not usable waves would kill you!! They break on a wall of rocks.. no ways you can swim.. Besides being run down every window is dirty, every passage dirty, ac does not work in restaurant… and staff phone you in the morning night and early to wake you up for breakfast as they serve you on there schedule not yours. All and all I would say it’s pretty bad! I would not bother..

We went in very low season and so it was very sparsely staffed; sometimes it felt like no one was there. The bridge to the pool and loungers need mending; the place felt a bit tired but I think because off-season

Wifi was fine. Hot water. Pool is really nice and lifeguard Marcus makes his everything that you can enjoy your stay!

Room was a bit outdated and balcany was dirty. It’s hard to get a tuctuc drive to Colombo.

If you are traveling on a budget this little hotel is perfect. It’s only 30 minutes by car to the capital Columbo and 30 minutes to the airport. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The food is plentiful and lovely. The beds were comfortable and the AC was very much welcomed in the hot days! Marcus, the pool attendant, was always helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble.
