Harris Retreat - Donnini Apartments

The layout was good We got early check in

We read there was 2 single beds and one double, this wasn’t the case as it was two doubles Dirty dishes left in dishwasher and table in kitchen not cleaned We were expecting a great outlook however instead there is awful mesh on the balcony, this was not expected or shown in photos

Location, easy access and convenient parking.

The boiler and heating had been turned off and it took time to programme as the only instructions were to turn the radiator temperature controls. The door handle in the bathroom fell off, the door to the balcony was wide open when we arrived and one of the windows in the lounge was open. The window was misaligned but I managed to get it closed. I reported these maintenance issues to Natasha who was very helpful. Repairs were carried out later .

Property is superb

Nothing to dislike.

As there was two of us staying in apartment I had to get two keys cut at Timpsons one for front door and one for outer door which was annoying. I recommend leaving more than one set of keys if there is more than one person staying.

My husband and I (in our 50s) with my brother (80 years old) stayed here for a catch-up up with family who live a block away. This beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, spacious apartment is perfectly situated on the waterfront with stunning views. Having a lift was a bonus. The attention to detail was first class. The heating was already on a timer to save us any bother. The pleasant, helpful staff gave us a courtesy call to ensure all was well. I highly recommend this apartment, and I would happily stay there again.

The view over beach and lsle of Aaron. Bedrooms and bathrooms excellent Doninni staff very efficient and pleasant.

Dish washer not working for duration of 7 night stay.

Location was great sea view and a short walk to town. Key pick up was easy. There is a lift in the property.flat was spacious.

Balcony needs painting walls and table dirty, living room window didn't close, it was open when we arrived, carpets and walls need freshening up, shower cubicle and shower curtain had mould. Only one tablespoon in drawer and I phoned to report it. I would have to leave the key in the bin area where I picked it up. I didn't want the inconvenience so bought plastic ones. I took the duvet out of it's cover because it was too heavy and it was covered in huge stains. I don't think the flat was inspected before our stay

We had a sea view and no buildings in front of us. Plenty parking spaces for our cars. A short 5 minute walk into the town centre. Lift in building for easy access to 3rd floor flat. Communal area very clean

The sitting room windows did not open.
