Location, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms all clean and pleasant

Carpet dirty in living area, sheets not clean on sofa bed

Liked everything about our stay and very satisfied with our apartment. Near to town centre and restaurants and obviously a lovely walk along the beach. Car parking and access to apartment was very good.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay.

Close to facilities. Comfortable beds. Clean, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This apartment with the view overArran stunning. Bedding towels etc nice n fresh, Kitchen well eqipped.

Windows to stunning view needed cleaning ,windows open to enable easy cleaning so surprised not done. More comfortable seating on balcony be nice to enjoy sunset. Locks on doors bit tricky.

Excellent Size accommodation with everything we needed for a few days get away. Location couldn't have been much better.

Accommodation overall good, but decor and maintenance looking a little bit tired. Ensuite was in twin room, but unfortunately mattresses felt cheap and really not comfortable. Needed to use twin room rather than double room as my husband has several disabilities, one being severely sight impaired, so for ease of using bathroom during night in a strange place. Detail clean Needed. Skirting boards and doors. Also down side of sofa neatest window, there is food debris. Main dislike amount of time trying to lock door when leaving

Excellent location, right on the beach and looking across to Arran. All the facilities we needed, easy to access and great communication with the owners,

A couple of minor maintenance issues were communicated to the owner which will be followed up on.

The location was good.

Our double bed base was already broken/collapsed to the floor and we were rolling out the bed each night. We reported this the very first morning and although they promised to replace the bed, it was not done during our 4 nights stay there. The mattress was so thin over the bed springs we could feel every one of them digging into our bodies. We were sleep deprived and continued to contact Donnini and then they stopped corresponding to us. The water heater was not working when we arrived and had to waiting until after 9am the next morning for a maintenance man to arrive and fix it. This delayed our showers and setting out for the day. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working and it was fixed the day after that. The path outside the building was covered in dog faeces and more dog faeces appeared each day. We had to lift our cases up and step carefully around the faeces each time we walked to and from our car. The quilt was too small for the double bed quilt cover and did not cover both of us. The lounge sofa had a bad smell like urine each time anyone sat down and air was expelled from the sponge seats. We only had one towel each, no spare clean towels or information on how/if we could get fresh towels There were no tea towels or dishwashing liquid and only 3 dishwasher tablets when we were staying 4 nights. At the end of our stay I sent a further email to them outlining our awful experience at the apartment and of their lack of action and communication. Many days later we received an email from their guest experience team with an apology and the only compensation for our stay being an offer of 70 pounds discount off a further stay with them!! Considering we live in Australia and the apartment is in Scotland this is of no use to us and would only benefit Donnini with another booking! We received no refund whatsoever for having to suffer a bed with a broken frame for the entirety of our stay.

Location and easy entry process.

The main bedroom bed base is broken, and I am unable to use it. Photos included, and agent made aware.

Wonderful to sit and watch the sea even when the weather was inclement. Easy to walk to shops. Lots of beach for walks if the weather obliges.. Two bathrooms were a bonus. Kitchen well equipped.

Single bed mattress slid partly off base so uncomfortable. Blind in room with sea view only went a small way up so no sea view as promised. We struggled with TV. Some instructions about the remote for Non-UK visitors would be a big help.

Great location property was clean and spacious would stay again
