The apartment does offer a few undeniable strengths: two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and complimentary toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo, which were appreciated.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. There was a clear lack of consideration from the team managing the property. No warm welcome, no personal attention, and very limited communication. This wasn’t just "frustration" as they said — it was genuine disappointment. Cleanliness was below expectations (dirty windows foe example), the kitchen was poorly equipped (very few dishes, no dish towels), and the bathroom equipment needed renovation (for example the leak from the showerhead or the bathtub didn’t drain properly). The most serious issue was the scaffolding, which entirely blocked the promising sea view and the complete lack of transparency regarding this. According to neighbors, it has been in place for some time, making its omission unacceptable. No alternative solution was offered, despite the company managing several sea-view apartments in the city. Finally, although a partial refund was promised in writing several days ago, it has still not been processed. This delay only adds to the dissatisfaction and raises concerns about the reliability of the management. I’m sharing this so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.

The property was in an excellent location , it was very clean and spacious. We liked the fact it had 2 bathrooms. Although there is no private parking there were plenty of spaces to park right outside

The only thing that spoilt our stay was the communal door lock didn’t work properly and sometimes we had to buzz other residents to let us in , which must have been annoying for them . One night it took us 10 minutes to gain entry . It is a well reported problem by the residents to the owner of the building but it has not been fixed.

The neighbour downstairs seen us coming in wasn't very nice to us then the next night she smashed up her house I had a 6yrs little girl with me who was scared off the noise

The lock box location was easy to locate. Great to find once the code worked,

Everything was of a high standard and the apartment had two bathrooms which added extra convenience to our stay. The nearness of the beach and the great views of the beach/sea and the Isle of Arran also added to the high standard.
