We stayed twice on our way to and from the south coast. Everything was faultless. We had a different room for each stay, both immaculate, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Great contemporary bathrooms with powerful showers. We received a warm welcome first time from Guillaume and second from Laurence on our arrivals. We loved the dogs! Laurence sometimes cooks but she wasn’t there on our first visit and she didn’t do so on the second, however, they recommended two local restaurants for dinner, both of which were excellent. The house is stunning with lovely garden and grounds. We enjoyed using the pool. Breakfast was really good with breads, cheese, fruit, large croissants & homemade jams. We would love to stay again but for longer next time as it’s such a relaxing place. PS. The jars of Baba’s au Rhum in jars are delicious.

On arrival our host greeted us and told us re her email, that she sent the previous evening, she would not be cooking for us as her daughter had returned and they were going out to dinner. Being on holiday my husband had actually turned his email off so we were unprepared. She directed us to the nearest butcher, baker and supermarche. There is a well equipped summer kitchen in the garden for guests to use. However she went on to say we were the only ones staying as she had decided to take a break. We did get a choice of the family room, which we apparently booked though can't remember requesting it or a small downstairs double room which was much nicer. We had the place to ourselves for the evening as the family went out but did hear them all arrive back later in the night. The bed was comfortable and otherwise it was quiet. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was already laid out when we got there at the prearranged time. The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious though there was no cover to guard against flies. We left after breakfast so our hosts could go to their yoga session.

Beautiful setting and wonderful staff. We highly recommend and will be returning! Many thanks for lovely time.

We spent a night in the Pigeonnier for an anniversary weekend. The owner very kindly allowed us to stay for 1 night even though 2 nights is normally the minimum. A bunch of fresh roses welcomed us which was a lovely touch. Beautiful grounds - next time we'll come in the summer and enjoy the pool!

A beautiful property in a beautiful region. Old stones very well refurbished, decoration is unbelievably well done, you really feel good. All in the details, bed sheets, towels, amenities are great. The hosts are very professional, very committed and super nice. You really feel welcome. We had a chance to have diner on spot at the table d’hôtes and we meet 2 wonderful couples. Breakfast is simple and great, try the scrambled eggs with estragon... We definitely are going to be back.

Been meaning to write his review for 2 years. So here it is . We stayed here for a week with our Springer Spaniel, in summer 2016 . It’s a stylish country house, quintessentially French, with friendly owners (both speak English) and a wonderful garden. We stayed in the pigeoniarre (because of the dog). A couple of times during our stay, the owner offered a homemade supper, food was delicious, served In candlelight on the terrace, round a communal table. Two delightful evenings. One day we’ll go back and stay in the sumptuous rooms inside the house.

Laurence and Guillaume are consummate hosts providing a boutique hotel experience, delicious table d’hôtes, with excellent facilities to cater for yourself if desired. The grande chambre is recently renovated with taste in the French style, spotlessly clean with fresh flowers and water provided daily. You can enjoy the pool, a massage in the converted turret, yoga in the brand new studio, or ramble in beautiful countryside on the free bikes provided. Cahors and various other local attractions are easy and picturesque drives away including St Cirq la Popie. You will need a car. Simply a tranquil oasis, we did not want to leave, providing excellent value for money. This unique stay provides a luxury, professional small hotel experience, while making you feel as if you are staying with particularly accommodating friends. Book early! The only problem? My husband’s holiday romance with the owner’s beautifully trained dogs coming to an end. Nous vous remercions et attendez notre deuxième visite avec impatience.

This is a lovely B&B. There is also a small self catering cottage. The accommodation is spotlessly clean with lovely quality bed linen and towels. It’s tastefullt furnished and decorated and breakfast is delicious. Lawrence and Guilleme are excellent hosts, very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Domaine de Labarthe!

A magnificent property! We were there with friends and customers. Every detail from our rooms to our food was perfect. The pool and grounds were beautifully planted and cared for. I will be returning to this property!
